COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES

The mission of the College of Arts and Sciences is to offer bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in a variety of subjects that relate to humanity's cultural, social, and scientific achievements. Arts and Sciences degree programs are designed as the means for understanding society's condition, achievements, and problems. Students obtaining a degree from Arts and Sciences will have a broad understanding of the world in which they live and will be able to think logically and express themselves clearly.

The College of Arts and Sciences comprises 20 academic departments:

The Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences reports to the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs.
