SCHOOL OF LAW

The mission of the Law School is consistent with the long-range plans of the University. As part of the University, the general mission of the Law School is to transmit and to increase the store of human knowledge. As a professional school, the Law School's role is to provide academic and professional instruction to those who wish a legal education.

The School of Law comprises several distinct units:

• Instructional Program, including the Law Library and the Clinical Law Program;
• Indian Law Certificate Program;
• Natural Resources Certificate Program;
• Institute of Public Law and its affiliates;
• three law journals;
• International Transboundary Resources Center; and
• U.S.-Mexico Law Institute.

The Dean of the School of Law reports to the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs.
