Proposed Policy: Policy E30 "Research Data Management"

The draft Faculty Handbook Policy E30 “Research Data Management” is a new policy proposed and developed by the Faculty Senate Research Policy Committee. The team developing this proposed policy was led by Karl Benedict, Chair of the Research Policy Committee; and included Grace Faustino, Research IT Liaison, Vice President for Research; and members of the IT Research Technology Advisory Board. The Policy is designed to provide UNM researchers with the information and resources they need to comply with research data management laws, agreements, and regulations throughout the research lifecycle. The Policy describes rights and responsibilities concerning access, use, sharing, privacy, security, confidentiality, maintenance, storage, retention, and disclosure of research data.
