October 6: A63.5 Information Technology Committee

The Faculty Senate Information Technology committee has recommended changes to the
committee’s charge detailed in Faculty Handbook Policy A63.5 “Information Technology
Committee. The Faculty Senate Policy Committee reviewed the recommended changes which are summarized below:
• Voting membership of the committee has been updated to include a UNM Staff Council
member and to remove the requirement for one faculty member to be from the Research
Policy Committee.
• Ex-officio committee membership has been updated to include Health Sciences Center
representatives.
• Committee membership language has been moved from the Policy Statement section to the
Procedures section of the Policy and references to the Business Council structure removed.
